Leaving *the* Shady Side

Hello from Jenn and Craig Barnabee. We are about to head out from Maryland with our two dogs, our truck, and our Airstream, "Chisoku," to look for a new home in the Midwest. We'll live in Chisoku until we find a place. From time to time, we'll post pictures and updates here on this blog so you can follow our adventures. We expect this blog to be for friends and family, but we realize other people out on the World Wide Web might stumble upon it. Whoever may be reading this, we hope you'll find it interesting. 😄

Leaving Shady Side, MD (a.k.a. “the Shady Side”), where we’ve lived for nearly 20 years, is difficult. We’ve made wonderful friends and loved the views of the West River and the Chesapeake Bay. It’s hard to put into words everything we’re leaving behind—so many special people and memories. We know we may never have moments quite like these again, but we plan to stay close to the friends we cherish. In no particular order, here are a few photos to remember our time here.
